This supplement is formulated to help the adrenals response to stress.

In health care, low levels of energy/fatigue have been regarded often as a symptom of adrenal gland fatigue.

The adrenals are bombarded daily to emotional stress, refined foods, caffeine, pollutants, microorganisms, allergens, etc. and the results are a myriad of common symptoms such as headaches, craving sweets, fatigue, postural hypotension, light sensitivity, chronic low back pain, etc., etc.

Phytisone has eleutherococcus, panax ginseng, and ashwagandha which all enhance peoples' response to physical and chemical stress, glycyrrhiza which has a harmonizing effect on Blood Sugar activity, astragulus, zingiber as well as ascorbic acid, pantethine, active B-6 (P-5-P), and zinc for supporting optimal adrenal function.

This is a great non glandular supplement to support the adrenals (I use it).
