Adrenastim is designed to support individuals that have developed adrenal exhaustion. It is intended for those that have lost their ability to produce functional healthy levels of cortisol.

Adrenal exhaustion develops from chronic stress. The stress may be chemical, physical, or emotional, but it is usually a mixture of all three at some level. When the adrenals become exhausted they lose their ability to produce cortisol. This leads to hypoglycemia since the body depends on cortisol to stabilize blood sugar levels during the day.

Cortisol also has anti-inflammatory, anti-allergic activity, and immuno-enhancing properties. As the adrenals become exhausted, the body's ability to synthesize all other hormones becomes compromised and all the negative concomitants associated with it may manifest clinically.
